James Dicks

Jim was active as a referee for over thirty-two years starting out originally as a SAY Soccer referee and later as a USSF official. He has officiated at many levels, youth, high school and amateur and on a few, very rare occasions, when things were really desperate we put him on the line for a college match. He has also been active as an state level assessor. He has served on the Centerville SAY Soccer board and later on the SAY National Board for seven years. Serving in 1985 as secretary, as treasurer from 1986 to 1989; vice-president in 1990 and president in 1991.

In 1992 he was elected to the DASOA (Dayton Area Soccer Officials) board subsequently serving as treasurer and later president. He currently is on the OSSRC (Ohio South State Referee Committee) serving as treasurer. A position he held earlier before taking a brief hiatus.
