LAW 17 - THE CORNER KICK |

A corner kick is the way to restart play when the ball leaves the field across the goal line, last touched by a defending player |
| The ball is placed on or inside the corner arc on the side of the field closer to where the ball went out |

The ball is in play as soon as it is kicked and moves The player taking the corner kick cannot touch the ball again until another player has touched the ball (An indirect free kick is given to the other team if this happens) All opponents must remain at least ten yards away fro the ball until it is in play |
| A goal can be scored directly from a corner kick |

Players are not allowed to move the corner flag to take a corner kick |
